NRK, one of the leading UK house labels, compile a ‘Best Of’ from their recent ReMasters series. 8 years worth of quality house tunes from the likes of Miguel Migs, Peace Division, Nick Holder, Freeform Five and many more are spread out over 3 discs.
To celebrate the year of our 100th release, we’ve digitally re-mastered many of the house nuggets in our back catalogue, and have issued 15 ReMasters 12s over the Summer. The ‘ReMasters Collection’ features many of the hi-lights from these 12s on a triple CD, tastefully packaged in a triple digi-pak.
San Francisco house don, Miguel Migs, features heavily, with some classic cuts including ‘The Jam’, ‘Bump Selecta’ and ‘Make A Change’. Other West Coast vibes featured on the CD include H-Foundation’s mix of Plastic Avengers, some cuts from Joshua (Classic Recs) and the massive Jeno mix of Rocket’s ‘People’. NRK’s affair with Canada’s Nick Holder spans 8 years, and the shimmering latin house of ‘Summer Daze’ is included here alongside the Salt City mix of ‘paradise’ and the jackin Jamie Anderson mix of ‘Inside Your Soul’. Also from Canada, Sirus delivers the Balearic beauty of ‘Big Ben’ whilst The Stickmen & Soulgrabber do some heavy jackin on ‘Hey Bryce’.
NRK were one of the first UK labels to champion the heavier tech-house sounds, and the likes of Jamie Anderson, Peace Division, Audio Soul Project and Slam are featured on this triple pack. Other big names from house music have also had a strong affiliation with NRK, including Ian Pooley, Derrick Carter, Sandy Rivera and Freeform Five, all of whom are featured on this release.
